Henry Perrine (5 April 1797 – 7 August 1840) was a physician, horticulturist, United States Consul in Campeche, Campeche, Mexico, and an enthusiast for introducing tropical plants into cultivation in the United States.

2017年5月16日 · In 1838, the United States Congress granted a township of land in the southern extremity of Florida to noted horticulturist Dr. Henry Perrine and his associates. This land was to be used in experiments aimed at introducing foreign tropical plants and seeds into Florida.

Henry Perrine Baldwin (August 29, 1842 – July 8, 1911) was an American businessman and politician on Maui in the Hawaiian Islands. Dr. Henry Perrine graduated in 1820. He was 22. Not wanting to set up his practice in the relatively domesticated confines of an already established town, he ventured to Ripley, Illinois, in the Northwest Territories. To the people of Ripley, he would become known as their “li’l hard-working doctor.” He did more than tend to patients.
