HEMP PLA is a 100% plant-based commercially compostable Polylactic Acid resin blended with 25% hemp content. HEMP PLA is designed to be a replacement for virgin PLA injection molding applications. Natural color is medium brown; pelletized.

Our customers can choose hemp plastic that uses 100% bio-based resin, and many of our polymers can be biodegradable or compostable. Hemp is a carbon-negative renewable resource. Fossil fuel plastic is made from a non-renewable resource and emits significant greenhouse gasses during its lifecycle.

H25CPLA3 is a 25% hemp filled polylactic acid (PLA). This product is generally used in injection molding, but may be used for other forming methods as developed by individual users.
