On the 60" back wall side, usually in the middle about 10-16 inches off the tub. Corner shelves once again sometimes depend on layout according to missing a deco line.

2007年8月1日 · In my area, we use PEX. I still use copper for building a tub or shower valve assembly, but otherwise avoid it. PEX pipe requires no air chambers since it's quieter and self-cushioning. But back in the days when we were using copper for new housing, I did not use air chambers and there were no problems with water hammer.

2017年5月6日 · OP, we do it a lot. There is nothing that says the valve must be on the same wall as the shower head. In addition to putting the valve on the opposite wall, we also move it closer to the entry point. There is nothing that says it has to be centered in the shower.

2015年3月14日 · I've been sweating on pex adapters to my r10000 rough in valve bodies. My plumber used female 1/2 npt adapter with teflon tape and pipe dope. Its a whole lot faster and simpler for me to use the female adapters.

Also, don't just buy any "$50.00 valve" make sure it is a tempering anti-scald valve such as the Symmons that is accepted by you're local codes.

2007年10月10日 · I call Kohler, 2 people later, they are baffled. Owner moving in Monday and I have no answer, replacing the valve is not practical. I will be swapping the guts out tomorrow, but I have my doubts. There is or was no debris present in valve. No circ pump. We have elec tankless heaters. The shower head is right over the valve in the wall.
