I absolutely love VB, it is my favorite television show and I do 100% agree about the quality of its writing, but it's a real stretch to say it has timeless humor seeing as how 50% of its jokes are references to TV shows and random pop culture trivia from the 60s-80's or references to the weird music that Doc and JP liked as teenagers.

The Joker as a character is fascinating as a portrayal of what the world finds most terrifying wearing a grin and green hair.

In the first season we explored the world of Harley Quinn and love was a subplot, but in season 2 the subplot became the story. The first episodes focused on taking down the Injustice League and for example the mister Freeze story had a love lesson for Harley.

2021年3月5日 · The first part was kind of a rant, my real problem isn't harley, okay well it sort of is. Any time harley Quinn the joker and batman get thrown into the mix, batman and the joker just look like mega assholes afterward. I do not hate harley but if we could just keep her out of the batman and joker story, it would be so much better.

Harley just feels off, like, sure, she likes to mess around, rob banks, cut a jerk If needed. But she wouldn't try to kill a kid, or unleash parademons. The show wants to be Deadpool, not Harley Quinn, and that's the prob. Finally, I hate how some characters are totally torn down to a joke. Now, again, I know it's satire.

Episode 3 or 4, maybe have an actual conversation (because, let's face it, they are both adults who can be mature), and then start to show them actually striving to be better. Those little moments or actions could speak volumes in the show, and it could really help the show from getting dragged down in the sameness of it all.
