Harem Scarem is a Canadian hard rock /melodic hard rock band [4] from Toronto, Ontario. Harem Scarem initially (the early 1990s) achieved popularity in their native Canada and Japan. The band was active from 1987 to 2008, and again from 2013 after reforming.

With the first two album (“Harem Scarem” of 1991 and “Mood Swings” of 1993) being the key to bring the band on the attention of the worldwide audience, Harem Scarem kept on delivering high quality music throughout the years, and the latest releases “Thirteen”, “United” and “Change the World” are shining examples of it.

Harem Scarem is a Canadian melodic rock band from Toronto, ON. Harem Scarem achieved popularity in Japan and their native Canada in the early 1990s. In 1999, Harem Scarem changed their name to Rubber, and released two albums under that name in Canada. They reverted back to Harem Scarem in 2001.
