But there are a couple of tools that I go for the better ones, and IMHO, this is one tool that I would go with the higher quality. I used to sell crimping tools to electric utility companies, manual, battery operated & big hydraulic units.

2012年8月22日 · This new tool will probably crimp as well as your older crimp tool, however: the Ancor double crimp tool I purchased in 8/2012 was made in Taiwan and the crimp dies were installed "reversed" from your pair. The new Ancor tool crimp dies are in the same position as the dies on the HF crimp tool. The dies retain the Ancor shape.

2016年10月4日 · IMO, for gelcoat, get the cheapest siphon feed gun you can. Harbor Freight is good enough. The reason is that unlike paint gelcoat does not spray on as a finished surface. You will need to apply more gelcoat than you need and do a lot of wet sanding after application - 400/600/1000/1500/2000 grit sequence until polished and shiny.

2009年12月25日 · None of them correlate with each other particularly well, and I think the reason is that they all have different "depth perception" based on their sensitivity. The GT meter was totally useless - readings were noisy and irreproducible. The Ryobi could be a useful tool for finding the source of water intrusion via gradients of moisture.

2000年7月26日 · Bottom line in my opinion, if you must equalize your AGM, don't go above an average of 0.25 amps per battery cell (0.75 and 1.5 for 6v/3cell and 12v/6cell batteries respectively) and don't even do that unless your going to invest in a battery tester (Harbor Freight Tools sells one that is about $75 bucks that does just fine for measuring ...

2012年12月23日 · The Fein Multimaster is (as others have said) an awesome tool! They are expensive, but the cost amounts to only a few hours equivalent of boatyard labor $$. The cutter blade options are many, and you are sure to find the right blade for your job. Oh, and I would stick with a genuine Fein, with the quick - change blade option.

2011年9月26日 · Just got back from the boat this weekend. house batteries needed tobe charged with the Honda 2000. I've been running the engine and the volt meters show 13.5 to 14 volts output but when I put the amp meter to the alternator output wire it reads just 1.13 amps - not much and the batteries are down in amps.

2003年2月27日 · I sail a 1995 C30 MK III tall rig. Our mast is deck-stepped. When I pulled it at our club gin pole I was surprised to find all the in-mast wiring was connected thru various plugs and stuffed into the base of the mast, then run out a small exit hole on the side of the mast near the step, and into the boat.
