Happy People wurde am 15.06.1965, damals noch unter der Firmierung M. Klein & Co., in Bremen gegründet. Durch die Übernahme mehrerer Fachabteilungen bekannter Handelshäuser in den Jahren 1977 und 1978 rückte der Handel mit Spielwaren schon früh in den Mittelpunkt der geschäftlichen Tätigkeit und blieb es bis heute.
