Swollen lymph nodes or ingrown hair? - The Bump
An ingrown hair usually has a visible red bump, not unlike a pimple. It's usually hard though. With an enlarged lymph node , you usually can't see a lump unless it's in an area with minimal fat (like the neck) or it's really bad. It will not be visibly red, but if you press on it, you'll feel a tender lump and it may be warm to the touch.
Hair Did or Hair Done? - The Bump
Reminds me of a crank call from years ago on the radio station, where the receptionist calls someone pretending to be from the salon with a free makeover and says "when did you want to come in to have your hair did?
Baby question: Which traits do you hope Baby gets?
2014年7月9日 · I have fine hair, so I probably hope baby gets his hair. We have both done fairly well academically and career wise, so I hope our baby does too. I am talkative and he is usually quiet, so it might be better for baby to follow me on that one since he is Army; an outgoing kid will probably have an easier time moving around and making new friends.
Moms who style baby's hair...? — The Bump
Since I only style DS's hair for special occasions or pictures I use what my husband uses, it's crew wax, if I'm too lazy to do that i use hair spray. Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle.
How much does an updo cost at a hair salon? — The Bump
It will be $55 for the hair and an extra $55 for makeup- but we are in a low cost of living. 4 years ago at my wedding it was $35, but we went to the salon in another low cost of living city. I was going to say $30-35 for my area, but the COL is really cheap.
Do you think your baby is cute? - The Bump
Ben is cute, but ds1 was a beautiful baby. Even ds2 wasn't as cute as a baby, but he is most certainly super freakin cute now. Ben has some crazy ass hair, some are so long I don't know what to do with them! He also needs to grow into his nose & ears, he's still cute but if I'm being honest I've seen cuter babies.
Do we really need a bassinet? - The Bump
I much prefer changing from above and me at my baby's feet. I usually just laid a blanket down on the floor or on the couch and changed the baby there. I had a basket in the living room for diapers, wipes, balmex, etc. But I do have the dresser/changer/hutch combo, so it didn't really go to waste. I just didn't use the big pad on top.

Red Head Breast Feeding - The Bump
I think this is an OWT about the sensitivity. I had no problem the short amount of time I breastfed my DS1. I have worked for a dentist, and both my second sister (I have 3) and I have red/auburn hair naturally, according to books I read in Dental School and some other sources, redheads have a higher pain tolerance.
