In fact you can add a headers attribute to a td cell which points to the id of a th cell (for screen readers). So th is directly related to the tds of that column.

2019年5月14日 · This question is pretty old but I think it's worth rebutting the previous comment, that the value of HTML isn't from its default styling provided by the browser, but from its value in "marking up" information (semantics), whether it's for Google/search engines to categorize things, or arguably more importantly, accessibility technologies that don't look at the visual styling at all.

2013年9月8日 · Seeing as how there is only 1 line for TH elements, how can I construct the header row such as the columns line up? Hierarchical tables doesn't seem like a good option because the column widths won't line up, and I also can't use two rows with TH tags with colspan.
