2013年12月2日 · HDMI 1.4 is capable of 1080p120Hz (bitrate is only 8.91 gbps and the maximum for HDMI 1.4 is only 10.2 gbps) BUT it's up to the manufacturers to decide the signals they want to send / accept. Unfortunately 120Hz / 144Hz are note common signals that's why they usually don't bother with them.

2019年12月27日 · Just as a note, HDMI cables aren't classified by specific version numbers. To run 1080p 120 Hz he needs a High Speed HDMI cable, which is a cable certified for at least 10.2 Gbit/s. That's the maximum speed allowed by HDMI version 1.3, 1.3a, 1.4, 1.4a, and 1.4b. There aren't specific cables for each "version".

2017年9月25日 · I think DVI-D Dual link can do 1080p 144hz, or it might only be 1080 120hz. I am getting conflicting answers to that. Like I said HDMI 1.3A and up is rated for 1080p 144hz however the monitor may not allow 144hz over HDMI.

2020年5月15日 · I was wondering if I could get a "better" HDMI cable to run the display at full fledged 1440p 144Hz through HDMI, until I buy my new card and use displayport. As in, maybe the included HDMI cable supports up to version 1.4 bandwidth and getting an HDMI 2.0 cable would allow me to get the full resolution and refresh rate of the monitor.

The 144Hz option doesn't even show up in Windows Display Settings or NVIDIA Control Panel. ( included photos) Could the DP cable be broken? Or does the problem lie somewhere else? DL DVI-D is still digital and will relay and refresh with reasonable competence, and the in-total refresh rate of your monitor won't change, but the quality of what comes through your cable is also a factor.
