2021年5月12日 · I have been having the same problem for several days now. If I select the play button on HBO Max it shows another show with the play button selected. If I select the play button with the remote another show is displayed with the play button selected… forever in a loop. There is no way to play an HBO Max show through the xfinity X1 cable box

Thanks be talked to four customer service agents who passed it along to a tech who came out (which I knew was not going to fix anything because how could he) and he said I have to contact HBO.

We subscribe to HBO from Comcast, and are told that MAX is included; we shouldn't have to go through the "Subscribe/Connect" baloney to see something that's on MAX. Thought we'd be able to do that on this "free" week.
