As long as LED bulbs continue to be designed this way, they will NEVER achieve 100% filament equivalence.

And Sylvania Silverstars are a low target to match or beat; despite the advertising hype they produce less light than a regular H7 (not more, and the "whiter" claim is bogus, too). Well, I just bought a set of the 65/70 9003 osram bulbs for my girl friends car and I was shocked at how bright they were.

2012年10月30日 · The auto body shop reversed polarity on the headlight wiring. Since the high beam H1 bulbs grounded to the metal reflectors, which were solidly grounded to their mounting buckets - and Saab did not fuse their headlight wiring - they burned up the wiring.

2011年11月8日 · Actual lifespan of any bulb is highly variable depending on about half a dozen factors specific to the vehicle in which the bulb is installed; it is spurious to claim that H7 bulbs tend to last longer than H4 bulbs simply because one's new car uses H7 and they have lasted a long time versus the H4 bulb's in one's old car.

2010年1月6日 · The Sylvania XtraVision is a better choice than the Sylvania Silver Star. Any of the +50 bulbs (Osram Silver Star, Philips Vision Plus, Narva Rangepower+50, GE Night Hawk) are more or less equivalent. I'm not 100% certain what poster AFDK is trying to say by "brightness of these bulbs is mostly a perception of color temperature".

2006年8月28日 · Under ECE regulations, H7 bulbs must emit between 1350 and 1650 lumens at 13.2v. Under US regulations, H7 bulbs must emit between 1188 and 1512 lumens at 12.8v. Osram 65w H7 bulb #64217 (with blacktop) or #64218 (without blacktop) produces 2100 lumens. It is not E-marked or DOT-certified, but if you don't care about that, it will do what you want.
