I received H1B extension and H4 EAD card with validity until Jun-2027 however the current status of H4 extension is still showing as pending. My I-94 is going to expire in Aug-2024. Am I continue to work based on my new EAD card which is valid until 2027.

Processing times are never accurate. The Processing Center depends on your latest I-797 approval and not on I-140 or where you live. The only way to expedite it is if you file with H1B along with PP (So H1B + H4 + EAD bundled in one and filed in PP). What is the reason that your I-94 is valid till Jan 2025 even though your H1B is valid till 2026?

2024年1月10日 · Applied for H1B and H4 visa renewal along with H4EAD - Concurrent Filing with PP, mid-December. We got the approvals within 10 days, however, we noticed that the start date on the EAD is May 2024 (same as the renewed H1b and H4 dates).

Hi OP. Did you get H4 EAD approval? I am in similar situation. H1B got approved but H4 EAD got RFE. I didn’t include photos with the package. Not sure how much time USCIS will take after receiving RFE response? H1B was filed with premium processing with H4 and H4EAD forms included in the same package.

2015年12月5日 · Since, the H4 is dependent upon your H and the EAD dependent upon your I-140 approval. Despite a later withdrawal so long as your extension is valid your spouse should be able to rely on her EAD validity. This is not completely settled. That is what the H4 FAQ seems to say. Possibly, a letter to USCIS should be addressed for clarification.
