2004年5月16日 · actually k-series now are lighter in weight than b-series... so what i hear. The k20 motor in an RSX type S pretty much matches an H22 in power and is also a lot lighter than an H22. i believe the type S k-series puts out like 150 something lbs of torque with 220 hp while the h22 prelude type S is like 220 hp with 160 something lbs of torque.

2002年5月3日 · the h22 can rev higher and has higher compression compared to the f22b1 in stock form. h22 = 10:1 redline (round 6.8k) f22b1 = 8.8:1 redline round 6.3k f22b1 has iron cylinder walls and you can run forged pistons. h22 has alloy cylinder walls and must be sleeved if you want to run forged pistons.

2004年8月17日 · They have the same horsepower and the 99-00 si's but they bumped up the torque to around 137 i believe. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I'm pretty dead on for those engines. The k20a3 can be found in the rsx and new body civic si's but the engien design and placement is much different then how honda usually places thier engines.

2002年7月8日 · i heard that the h22 messes up your handling and jumping from 1.6 to 2.0 is a big jump Well an H22 is a physicaly bigger than the B16/B20 which both share a common block design. Meaning they will both weigh a very similar amount.

2007年6月21日 · I've never done the Frankenstein swap, but I've owned an Si Prelude (h23) and a VTEC lude (H22). The 3-4 more pounds of torque on the h23 is barely noticable compared to an h22. And the 30 more hp and the 1500 more rpms on the h22 is extremely noticable compared to an h23. IMO if you can afford to do the complete swap do it.

2004年7月13日 · Ok so I've been looking at engine swaps and I came across a Euro Accord Type R H22 motor for $4000 and a regular JDM H22A for $2200 at hmotorsonline.com. I looked on other sites and found a similar price difference. The only differences I see are 20 more HP, 2 more ft/lbs of torque, a little higher compression ratio and LSD.

2007年4月27日 · The reason I leave this for last is because finding one is like trying to find an unlit cigarette from the 70’s and finding parts for them are even harder. Although not impossible to swap though, it falls under the same category as the H22 swaps. In fact the mounts for swapping the H22 will also work on the F20B.
