2007年12月23日 · Can anyone clarify the difference between gypsum wallbaord and gypsum sheathing board as indicated in Table 4.3C of the 2015 SDPWS for wood-frame shear walls? It is not clear to me why these are two separate categories. The descriptions on page 33 indicate the material is per ASTM 1396 for both.

2006年6月12日 · The wood sheathing product should be used on all exterior walls. Wood sheathing has more capacity to resist lateral loads than the densglas product. Interior walls that go to the roof structure are typically just sheathed with a gypsum wall board (or densglas) product.
