My First Map: The Gun Turret - WAD Releases & Development
2020年12月14日 · The Gun Turret a pretty simple Doom2 map, If you've played Doom2, then most rooms should be pretty easy to navigate. It's my first map, so please be kind! I've kept it pretty simple, no jumping required, and secrets should be pretty easy to find. I'l admit that it is very hit scan heavy, but this does mean that ammo should be plentiful.

2016年8月4日 · In fact the mods seem to determine the weapon's overall effectiveness. The chaingun has been turned into a slow but powerful turret with barely enough ammo to last a few seconds. The plasma gun is a suppression weapon. Whether or not you even use the weapons at all depends on your personal play style. Maybe this is a good thing.

Weapon masteries are underwhelming! - Doom 2016 - Doomworld
2016年6月3日 · But even before you unlock the Mastery, the Assault Rifle by far is the best weapon to eliminate lighter enemies at a distance. Just aim for the head, if you're a PC user. The gun has great precision and sufficient damage except later in game. It's not so great against Mancubus, Kell Knights etc. SSG Mastery definitely had me back in Doom 2 mode.

2024年1月21日 · A few map feature suggestions: Set/Remove forcefield on line with tag. Force field is pretty much the most ubiquitous form of Boom's 242, making it simpler to set up, removing control sectors from equation and not seeing giant untextured walls in the editor would be nice.
