The area I placed the beds will give the hops sun until about 2pm and then the area will be partially shaded from the hottest afternoon sun.

2007年12月20日 · Any others experienced growing hops in heavy shade? Here's my experience with it. My back yard is about 100' wide x 50' deep with a 22 x 12 storage shed, retaining wall, 1 beautiful faux cherry tree, and 5 Big Leaf Oaks all with a trunk in the 30" - 40" diameter range (fully mature huge 50+ year old trees, and yes it's a PIA to rake every fall!).

2016年4月30日 · Great Lakes Hops, who I got them from, shed some light on possible reasons. Neo1 is hard to grow in containers filled with potting soil, because its native environment is New Mexico Desert, so it needs good drainage.
