Tina Kotek is Oregon’s 39th Governor and is committed to visiting every county in Oregon in her first year in office and building strong, working partnerships across our state.

She won the 2022 Oregon gubernatorial election, defeating Republican nominee Christine Drazan and independent candidate Betsy Johnson. [2][3] Kotek became the first openly lesbian woman elected speaker of a U.S. state house in 2013. She was the longest-serving Speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives. [4] .
