History - G&S Surfboards & Skateboards
Larry Gordon and Floyd Smith forged a close friendship in the mid 1950’s while surfing together. This led to the creation of a surfboard company which became a brand with worldwide recognition. In the late 50’s most surfboards were shaped from balsa wood.

1960 "Bubble Logo" T Shirt - White - G&S Surfboards & Skateboards
The "Bubble Logo" was Gordon & Smith's first logo for a short period of time. About 50-55 boards were made with the logo in the early 1960's. This logo was drawn up by Mike Salisbury, who was a local artist that would hang out around PB Point in San Diego.
