Jun 12, 2019 · I think you are misunderstanding Gin's motivations for doing what he did, and it's explained pretty well in the anime imo. All of what he did was because he wanted to take back what Aizen stole from Rangiku. It's implied that when he did the Hogyoku experiments on Rukongai citizens he took part of Rankigu's soul (atleast that's how i interpret it).

Apr 27, 2012 · Is Gin Ichimaru dead? I just found out today. And yes, I read Shonen Jump as it gets released on a weekly basis, I just assumed he was alive all this time. I remember him saying "Now I can rest", but I was so excited about the Ichigo/Aizen fight that I didnt give it much thought. Popular characters dont die in bleach, damn it!

May 8, 2023 · Gin is actually my favorite character from Bleach. Agree with what you said. Though I think Gin is just a version of something that every culture has, the story of the avenger. Back at the end of SS arc, when Gin was drawn with his eyes open, apologizing to Rangiku, I was like "yeah he's gonna betray Aizen".
