The Gibbston Valley Winery Restaurant offers an authentic Central Otago wine and food experience, highlighting local flavours and fresh, seasonal ingredients, expertly paired with our range of award-winning wines.

Located just 25 minutes from Queenstown, the Winery Restaurant combines stunning surrounds with Gibbston Valley's world class wine and food. Seating is available inside and out in our sunny courtyard. Bookings are recommended. For groups of ten or more, bookings are required.

There's so much to explore in the valley of the vines; not only can you set foot in the region’s oldest vineyards and New Zealand’s largest wine cave, but you can enjoy lunch at our restaurant and transport to our little corner of the world.

Experience the valley of the vines on a Complete Winery or Classic Cave tour. You'll discover Home Block—the first vines planted in Central Otago—and enjoy a wine tasting in our iconic wine cave. You might even catch a glimpse of the Winemakers in action.

We have seven vineyards, two in Gibbston and five in Bendigo. Their intricate and diverse landscapes allow us to create wines that reflect the site they grow in. Everything from the soil type to altitude and temperatures during growing season impacts the flavours and aromas of our wine.
