Will the ghost throw the book if ghost writing is the hidden evidence, or will it just not write? (I want to know if i could have put a line through writing to rule out some ghosts or not)

2020年10月4日 · The ghost book can sometimes take a very long time. You have to make the ghost active around it. Also confirmed that the ghost can write in the book without you holding it in hand or dropping it. Sometimes you pull your book out and it just has writing. But placing it in the ghosts area works best.

2021年8月29日 · Anything written/scribbled in the book counts as evidence. Doesn't matter how it looks. these scratches are only visible at an angle, and either do not count towards evidence, or are overwritten by ghost writing later

2023年8月22日 · No matter what, the ghost will not write in the book. I have spent around 20 minutes in the room while throwing around the books and waiting, rinse and repeat. However, there is simply no response. Starting over the training mode results in the same glitch.

2022年10月11日 · Press F to place the book down. If you're trying to throw it on the floor, you may need to crouch. There used to be a "ghost" outline of the equipment you were trying to place to show how it would be placed, but it looks like they took that out for some reason.

The higher the tier of book you are using, the more likely the ghost will interact with it. If it has Ghost Writing as one of its evidences, the ghost will scribble drawings or words on the paper eventually.
