Trail Guide - Georgia Appalachian Trail Club
A detailed guide book with maps of the Appalachian Trail is available from the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s Book Store. Multiple trailheads with parking offer access to the A.T. in Georgia. In addition to trailheads at the five major highways that cross the trail, the A.T. can be reached on several U.S. Forest Service roads.

Membership is open to everyone who shares the Club’s commitment to the Appalachian Trail and is interested in the club’s activities. There are two types of membership: active membership for those 18 years of age or older and junior membership for those 14-17 years of age.
