  1. G1000 - SUSP key - Pilots of America

2009年8月17日 · Looks like the G1000 intended to properly send me one time around the hold then autosequence to JEFFE (faf). To test the need for an additional turn in the hold, I pressed the SUSP softkey before getting back to VOVRY. Now, the SUSP annunciation DID appear on the HSI, and the G1000 directed me through another turn around the hold.

  2. g1000, how to activate the missed | Pilots of America

2011年12月19日 · And if your G1000 has the GA button (go around), remember that's your first action upon reaching your MAP. With the GFC 700 it disconnects the autopilot and causes the flight director to pitch up on runway heading for your climbout. You'll see the missed approach segments in white on the MFD until you hit the SUSP softkey to unsuspend the GPS.

  3. G1000 Training - Pilots of America

2018年1月17日 · I have owned two G1000 equipped aircraft. The Garmin training material is OK but I like Max Trescott's material much better. I have heard others speak highly of the Sporty's and Kings courses. The best tool you can have with learning a G1000 is a airplane power supply to keep the battery up while you turn knobs and punch buttons...

  4. G1000 Updating Procedure - Pilots of America

2022年4月19日 · The G1000 has the primary navigation database and supplemental databases. The supplemental databases are updated on the bottom SD cards located in the PFD and MFD. The supplemental cards should be labeled with the Garmin name and GDU Supplemental Data followed by a part number of 010-00330-4(#) or 010-01431-0(#).

  5. G1000 and holds - Pilots of America

2015年1月11日 · Not sure I follow, I get it that your G1000 'sucked' with no holds, it still 'sucks' now with holds and I don't follow what 'wallet' and 'suck factor' had to do with G1000. My comment was about G1000 'in general', irrespective of holds, I have no beef with this software (btw, my background is software).

  6. Garmin G1000 vs Avidyne Entegra? - Pilots of America

2005年8月22日 · The biggest difference in my opinion is the integration of the autopilot. In a G1000 you have to enter the altimeter setting in 3 places (G1000, KAP-140, backup Altimeter) but 2 in the Entegra. You have to enter the target altitude and climb/descent rate in 2 places (G1000 and KAP-140) vs the 1 in the Avidyne (the PFD).

  7. Garmin G1000 PC Trainer - Pilots of America

2007年5月18日 · First, unlike the GNS and GTN, the G1000 trainers from Garmin have never been free. If you are talking about the non-NXi, MyPilotStore still carries it. But I would double-check it's the latest 12.01 version. that aside, here's my take. I have G1000 trainers for three different aircraft, including the DA40.

  8. G1000 Standby DB error - Pilots of America

2009年11月13日 · I found one for Cessna NavIII that had the directions, but I can't find it at the moment (and Garmin's CDN is serving errors, lame) -- but pages 90-92 of the King Air 200 manual have the new DB sync procedure. This is the same as the G1000 in our Cessna 172, so hopefully works for you:

  9. G1000 data logging - Pilots of America

2010年11月8日 · I finally got to use the new data logging feature in the G1000. (This is part of the G1000 software for DA40's starting at version 0321.22.) For a geek such as myself, this is really cool stuff! I uploaded the flight from MSN to IA24 to cirrusreports.com, which shows a Google map, a graph of...

  10. Garmin G1000 PC Trainer NXi Cessna NAV III, v20.05

2018年6月14日 · The input is still a bit funky. But you should be able to edit the speed by pressing the menu key (that's menu on the emulated G1000) twice on your PFD to change speed. For the C172 config, it started at 0 knots, so I changed it to 100 KIAS and bumped up my altitude a few thousand feet AGL.
