2018年4月10日 · I have narrowed it down to the GMC Acadia. The issue is they are offered with a 6 cylinder and with a 4 cylinder. The 6 cylinder is around $7,000 more then the 4 cylinder but the 4 cylinder offers much better gas mileage naturally. My questions is, is spending the extra $7,000 up front and extra on gas worth the longer life potential of the V6?

The 3800 V6 is a 90 degree cylinder angle motor derived from a 60’s era V8 later sold to British Leyland and used in lots of Brit cars. They also offered a 3.4 liter version that seemed noisy and rough for no reason.

2012年9月1日 · The simplest way to verify that the points are doing their job is to use a test light probe and place the probe tip on the minus side of the coil, which should tie to the points in the disty, and the clip lead of the probe to a good ground point. Then crank the engine and verify that the light flashes while the engine is cranking.
