2022年5月22日 · I stopped at a red light and it died - no restart. Had it towed to the shop (dealer) and ended up replacing the TIPM and the fuel pump at the same time. $900 for the TIPM, $300+ for fuel pump, and labor. I think I got out of there with about a $1600 bill. The relay was a built in and not replicable except for replacing the TIPM.

2024年10月27日 · Truck was interment crank no start. Progressively got worse, would die while driving. Finally left me stranded, was diagnosed as fuel pump relay, fuel pump, and starter. Ran fine for a few months. Same thing, random dying, etc. Had to be towed to another shop, this one was 60 miles from home. Fuel pump was replaced again.

2021年7月30日 · Just happened to me on a 2011 Ram 1500. Certainly didn't seen like a faulty relay though. It would start every time unless the truck had sat for more than about 5 hours, then I would have to turn the key to on, and off, and on, and off, and on, and off, to try to build up some fuel pressure, then it would start.

2025年3月27日 · Unfortunately, I believe the fuel pump relay is soldered onto the mainboard in the TIPM. Your options would be to pull the TIPM apart and re-solder a new relay onto the board, or to relocate the relay. There was a recall some time back on Durangos, Grand Cherokees and some Rams that required dealers to relocate the fuel pump relay.

Searching the internet it sounded like maybe a bad fuel pump relay, read about, and put a jumper in the fuse box.
