Welcome to the beginnings of a site about Fox Studios in Century City just to the west of Beverly Hills. Founded in 1935, as the result of a merger between Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures, Fox is now a subsidiary of News Corporation.

Located in the heart of Century City, on Los Angeles' Westside, the Fox lot is home to 15 different sound stages and scenic on-lot locations. The 50+ acre lot contains iconic sights, art murals, and various forms of architecture that exemplify the studio's roots and history.

Fox Plaza (1987 – present) Better known as the Nakatomi Plaza, the site of Bruce Willis’ first outing as John McLane in Die Hard, the Fox Plaza building was completed in February 1987 and houses the headquarters of 20th Century Fox.

Filming was originally split between Stage 09 (interiors) and the Fox Ranch (exteriors), but after some time night-time exterior sets were added to the soundstage, so the majority of filming took place at the studio.

We unfortunately do not offer public tours of our studio lot at this time. However, we have been developing a program which may make this a possibility in the future. Please keep up-to-date with our studio for recent news and events to see if we offer tours at a later time.
