Are Fortress compressors worth full price? : r/harborfreight - Reddit
2021年8月9日 · Just moved and looking for a decent compressor for the shop. Looking at the 27 gallon 200 psi Fortress, but being it's a fairly new product I'm not sure it's worth the full $429 (likely with an additional $80 for the 2-year warranty). I'm primarily looking to use this for automotive tools, such as an air hammer and impact guns.
Fortress owners: How are your compressors holding up?
From everything I've read and researched, it seems that Harbor Freight has created remarkably decent clones of California Air Tools and DeWalt compressors with the 2, 4, and 6 gallon options that look well priced when coupons are around. What I haven't read is a single long-term review, or really anything more than an unboxing and early use.

I'm in the market for a brad nailer for doing some work around the house, mostly nailing up trim. Painting with the smaller compressor was just as smooth with no dips in air pressure. My setup is compressor with the on board regulator set to 60 psi to a moisture trap regulator set to airbrushing psi to airbrush. No pulsing what so ever.
