2025年1月8日 · Now that's a beautiful Ford woodie wagon. If it had the iconic flathead V8 it would be that much better. However, in my opinion the lack of the flathead engine doesn't hold it back as the perceived quality of the restoration carries the car regardless of the engine.

2024年8月31日 · 1949 Ford Woody, been in storage since 1966, the original flat head engine and 3speed manual transmission are removed but they can go with the car if you want them, the wood is decent except for the drivers door.

As to your paint question, in the book Famous Ford Woodies by Lorin Sorensen, on page 167 it states, "Most years the Wagon floors were painted black, sometimes brown, sometimes a combination of both. In some instances the bottom was left in red primer".
