2014年3月16日 · Without those 4 breeds the modern horse as we know it would not exist. When you crossbreed you should expect to get a blend of both breeds. Fjords and Freisians breed true and I see no reason someone would want a fjord cross. The fjord mule was the only exception. Fjord traits are unique . If you want a fjord buy one.

I grew up riding Fjord horses as lesson horses for years and years. Sweetest temperaments ever. Willing to please. Eager to try anything. We used them for jumping and dressage.

One of them are really big (1.52 m.), and the other one is just above 1.30 meters. They have a very characteristic appearance with this black/ brown line from the ears, through the mane and over the back and down in the tail.

I have tried some horses to find out what I do like or not, the most interesting horses were Friesians and Schwarzwaelder (Marburger Fuchs). I do remember two Hafflingers I tried and both had a trot that is far away from a smooth pleasure jog.

My friend's family owns one & i personally LOVE the breed so, pretty exciting for me Anywhoo... i have one other horse, a 16-yr-old Arab who isn't what you'd call an easy keeper in the winter. I feed her atleast 25-30 pounds a day depending on the weather & about 20 pounds through the summer.

2009年4月18日 · 2. If weather conditions allow it I wash the mane carefully, including the forelock which is difficult with water-shy horses and asks for some patience of both, horse and stylist, LOL. (I wash preferably with horse shampoo, or human baby shampoo, which is very mild to the horse skin). After washing I douche the mane with vinigar-water.
