Much much brighter than the Vulcan, cuts through smoke, and is pretty lightweight@ 3lbs.

Feb 15, 2009 · For a fire starter the scouts are taught to put dryer lint into a toilet paper tube. Certainly a great fire extender is a little Vaseline. Vaselinized cotton balls, a good combination! I'm told (although I have never tried it) ear wax is a good extender. Perhaps a cotton swab with some ear wax would be good.

I try to keep things that can become hot away from stuff that can burn, if made hot enough. Fail to do so: That leaves burns on my body and my clothes, on occasions when my lights had accidental power-on.

I would like to replace the bulb with some kind of LED, get some rechargeable batteries for it and possibly a keymod mount if this is possible and cost effective.

Oct 22, 2020 · The thing is if there was even a tiny chance of fire the current plastic wrappers they are sold in would be changed to prevent it from happening. IMO if you have to have that many alkaleaks I would strongly consider investing in a charger and some eneloops to take the place of a lot of batteries and reduce your dependence on alkaleaks.
