Actually if I went the FAST route I'd likely spend more than $1500, by the time you get fuel rails and all the other little stuff you need to finish the job. Then there is the issue (if running the bigger 102) of getting a different air intake setup to match the size of the 102 ( I don't think the 90 is available anymore so you're stuck).

Few questions about the intake install. FAST 92. How does the MAP sensor get locked in on the new intake? The old LS1 has a plastic locking tab the goes on top of the MAP sensor that holds in down and in place. There is no tab on the 92. Anybody know? Also, I broke the damn fuel line tab thinking I didnt HAVE to use the special tool to take it off.

You would be surprised how many ppl run the LS6 intake with h/c and still produce great numbers. I would only get the FAST if you have plans on a stroker or a healthy h/c set up with some juice. For the money you spend on the intake and throttle body, you can have yourself a new moser 12 bolt/9 inch.

i just bought a fast 92/92 setup and the ls6 valley cover. what else will i need to install this intake on my 99 camaro ss. i currently have the slp lid and ramair and smooth bellow and stock fuel rails and injectors. also the motors otherwise stock besides longtubes. will the stock rails and injectors fit and be fine as long as i get a tune

Only the LS6 intake with a 75 MM throttle body and the fast 90/90 setup were better than the truck intake,,,kinda interesting. The fast 90/90 setup doesn't really come into it's own unless you have a cam and some serious heads.

They do make spacers to use your ls1 injectors, but we just bought new injectors. Buy the specific FAST 102 fuel rails They say that you should take it apart and clean it up alil for it to flow better, but we just put his on and didnt take it apart. use your tb bracket off your current intake. The new kit will have bolts to put it on the 102.

And finally a FAST 92/92 ported and port matched. The port matching from the factory on the FAST intakes is HORRIBLE, I spend two days on this alone. Then cleaning up all the casting marks on the base and shell took another day sanding to an 800 grit finish.
