2010年6月22日 · Here is a link to the fan curve for the furnace. It looks like the lowest curve there ranges from 700 to 850 CFM, which seems too high for a 1.5 ton condenser, even though the manual says the furnace supports it!

But the 'real' one will be the one connected with a twist on cap to the fan motor. If the schematic is on the door, note the color coding of wires and then swap, in your case, to a lower speed.

Either way, raylo is right, it will just adjust just a preset fan speed by a few % not allow you to set a constant fan speed all stages. Some allow you to set the fan only speed though. (no cooling or heating.) $500 sounds like an installed price.

When working on switches, outlets, wiring, etc. always label wires before disconnecting them,. Save all old parts until the circuit or light or appliance etc. is working correctly so you can compare what you did with what was there before.
