Aquilo is a desolate, freezing ocean planet. Its surface consists solely of a vast ocean of liquid ammonia, with the occasional floating iceberg. Progression wise, Aquilo is meant to be visited after establishing factories on all the previous planets.

2024年11月11日 · Ammoniacal solution is freely pumped from the ocean, so the only waste to producing it is the power to run the cryoplants to separate out the ice. If you recycle the ice that comes out of the machine, then you have 100% free ammonia to do whatever you want with it.

2024年11月6日 · If i would go to Aquilo, i would bring nuclear fuel and some nuclear reactors. They can provide the heat to heat your buildings and generate power. According to the ingame factopedia, there is no point in solar (1%).

2025年1月20日 · Recycle the ice you don't use to not block the process and you have self sustaining power on Aquilo that also defrosts a large area. When you find its limit, copy and paste it to make more power and/or extend defrost range.

On Aquilo if you land with nothing then you can do nothing. Ok, but what DO you have? Your resources are: Solar (1%). Ammoniacal solution from the ocean directly. Crude oil from resource nodes.

My Aquilo train delivers fuel to heating towers at the same time it collects raw materials from each outpost. No bots at all outside the factory. Problem is, I can’t over-build mining outposts though or they will freeze.
