2021年10月6日 · The Nier isn't really grounded anywhere but the First and just has blatant Nier references so you'll either need to know Nier/Drakengard, or just grab on to the emotional side of the story. Sure it doesn't build the world much and wouldn't really be important in the long run (unless-) but it's a self contained story that some people can connect to.

Although the story might not tie back to the NieR story, there's some huge lore implications for both games no matter what, because if it really is a continuation of ending D the stories share a universe, which could make for some crazy twist for the future of the NieR lore.
