2019年5月2日 · Roos Field is a weird inclusion. I've been to better high school stadiums, even discounting the red turf abomination. Of Big Sky stadiums, I've visited (about half) it's my least favorite. Weber has a pretty comparable stadium in terms of size, but is a much better atmosphere and location. Also, the red really is awful to watch a game on.

2018年1月12日 · Atmospheres are better the closer fans can get to the field. As true of football as it is of ancient soccer stadiums in Europe. We got rid of ours a while ago - though we're now going to build a new one on top of the field (and a few rows of seats) for the 2028 Olympics.

@CFBcampustour over on twitter (the guy who does the obstructed view posts, among many many other things) is running a "Best FCS Stadium" tournament. The field of 128 has been narrowed down to 48 stadiums based on the input of the mods here, Sam Herder ( Hero Sports ), Zach McKinnell ( The Bluebloods ) and Kevin Marshall ( FCS Nation Radio ).
