I'm struggling to set the default Color Palette in Excel 2016. I want it to use the Office 2010 theme. I have read various articles saying I should create a blank workbook, change the color palette to 2010 and then save as a template. I have done this, but each new workbook I create still defaults to the Office 2016 color palette.

2014年4月7日 · The bars change color completely. Yuk. The problem lies in the fact that Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that Excel 2013 needs a different color palette to the old versions of Excel. To retrieve my original, chosen colors, I then have to (in the new workbook) go to the Page Layout tab --> Colors dropdown --> Office 2007 - 2010.

I would like to attach a 2 tab Excel Workbook showing the problem, bit there was no option, The first tab shows the full color pallet changes. The second tab shows a sheet that I have copied where the color pallet has SHIFTED. It is very time consuming to go thru the copied sheet and reset each color/cell/formula individually.
