2020年11月3日 · The 1st 504 code was cleared and a newer software was installed even though the 85nm upgrade was installed 3 weeks prior. I have made no changes to the motor, such as speedbox, etc. My LBS always wants me to check the speed input and magnet.

2023年12月25日 · 504 is probably a general code for when the system detects an anomoly...certainly that could be caused by a deresriction device but equally it could be caused by an incorrect speed sensor reading.....and that could either be due to some damage on the speed sensor cable or some restriction on the actual magnet/sensor.

2021年4月24日 · The limping mode is not too bad though. On my bike (CX perfomance line bought back in may) it restricts the maximum rotation speed of the chainring, so that on your longest gear it assists you until 27-28 km/h (yes, a bit faster than the bike without the 504), and progressively slower on shorter gears.

2020年11月3日 · I've made no motor modifications. The 1st 504 code was aftrr the 85nm software upgrade. The LBS cleaeed the code and installed a newer software version that had already been released after the 85nm upgrade. I figured this was a patch for the original software upgrade. The second 504 code occurred today.

2021年6月27日 · Bosch Australia is currently denying a warranty claim suggesting my motor has been modified/tampered with (which it never has, I bought the bike new) I had a 504 once, dealer cleared it and updated firmware, code never reappeared. Bosch Aus are saying that the idea there was a version of firmware that flagged false 504’s is BS.

2020年5月21日 · Again, the bike is really nice, but between this 504 error, other minor issues and a motor that clacks going downhill and a couple of creaks under heavy peddling, I am growing frustrated. The dealer told me the clattering in the motor is normal and part of an internal freewheel mech. I'm chasing down the creaks, but this 504 thing is a drag!
