2023年1月5日 · It will spin forever, endlessly. If I click on the software from Epson for the scanner it comes up with "The scanner is in use or unavaialbe. Please wait. (E1460-B305)" I was on the phone with Epson for 45 minutes to be told it was an issue with Windows. I have tried all the solutions online that I could find to no avail. Thank you.

2024年8月16日 · The Epson scanner package for the ES-400 gets to a point where it says that the scanner is detected and installation will proceed with USB is connected -- it gets stuck here. So it detects the scanner is there through the cable but cannot go further. Geek Squad said the driver is not downloading and needs to be done manually and to call Epson.

2023年1月31日 · Have you checked if Epson provide a driver on the Microsoft Store for your specific Printer model? If they do not provide a driver on the Microsoft Store, the only way to install the full driver and associated software for your printer would be to switch out of S mode and then download them for the Epson website.

2024年7月3日 · Epson V600 works with Microsoft scan for documents but can't scan slides or negatives. Epson scan or epson scan2 doesn't work, neither does Vuescan. Epson service centre suggested it was an old defective scanner not worth repairing so now I have two V600 which don't work. This seems to be a windows issue. Surely someone can sort this out!

This could be a cause of the problem, there is a possibility that the driver is incompatible with the latest Windows 11.

2019年2月22日 · I'm unable to use my Epson-Es-400 Scanner with Windows 10 Pro, Release 1809. I've uninstalled, reinstalled drivers (yes, most up to date) from Epson. I've sat on the phone with Epson customer support for hours. They blame Microsoft for the issue. Something about WIA must have been broken in that latest release.

2022年8月24日 · I couldn't get either to work. I copied the printer drivers from the Surface 7 and loaded them onto the Surface 8. I could only get it so see the printer. I have not been able to get the ES-300W to be recognized by the Surface 8 by either driver transfer, initial software download and install, USB or Wi-fi installation. No luck yet searching ...

2017年3月5日 · I have an HP Envy, Windows 10. I got a new Epson v550 Scanner and have been having trouble with the initial driver installation. I uninstalled all the new epson package software that was loaded and deleted anything else that had epson in it or v550. I also went into the twain folder and removed the folder that it had put in there.
