The emerald mine was in Zambia, not South Africa, and Zambia had been independent from the UK for a couple of decades by the time his father owned it. From what I've heard, the emerald mines probably weren't great anyway. Elon himself said his father is a terrible guy.

Maybe Elon was an emerald mule for his dad back when he was an illegal immigrant, and that’s why he now denies it. He does act like he has some emeralds stuck up his butt. 2024年5月11日 · I hate Elon Musk. I believe his Dad was a member of the Broederbond. I can't prove it, but I got banned on Twitter for saying it. It looks like Musk ran some sort of illegal mine and that's why there is no trace of it, and Errol's story can't be corroborated. That begs the question. If Errol did not own an emerald mine, how did he make his money?

The emerald mine story is a shit show which has been exaggerated and somewhat fabricated by people with Elon Derangement who needed all the ammo they could find to paint Elon Musk's achievements as unremarkable and overrated "If my father owned an EmeRaLD mINe, I cOULd DO That TOO!"

2022年2月22日 · Maybe Musk's space exploration is not as hopeless as he makes it seem. Perhaps the "1 million people in Mars" would be just like the taking of the astronauts to the ISS, with 2 years of delay. So, something like 2 years of delay times 1/2 millions of passengers.

Heck, Musk himself used to talk about the emeralds in his old interviews, until he decided to rebrand himself as an 'engineer' and a 'visionary'.

The mine was in Zambia(no apartheid), not south Africa. The mine was very small, only worth about 100k. Elon inherited literally nothing from his parents, because there's nothing to inherent. His mom is a model(not super model), and his dad was an engineer who went bankrupt in the 90s. Elon grew up an upper middle class life at best

2021年11月11日 · I keep hearing elon musk haters using the "His father owns an emerald mine which he uses the money to get rich", elon has stated that this is false, elon haters points out he's lying and said his father owns like half a share of an emerald mining company. Idk which one is real anymore, it's a question i just wanted to get answered.
