Oct 16, 2023 · I work for an ERP reseller and integrator (as the IT guy), there are no "AI" powered ERP systems, but there are several good ERP solutions out there. Some do have ML for fraud detection and services like that. And they do have automations you can setup and create. But no "AI". The real solution to a good ERP implementation is a good ERP integrator.

I've tried apps like Character AI, Janitor AI, Muah, Chai, and a few others, but I keep running into the same problem - the freakin' filters. Like, I'll be trying to have a normal convo, and the bot will just completely misunderstand a word and go off on some random tangent.

By far, the best conversations I’ve had with Ai chat bots is through the premades on character AI. Ranni the witch from Elden Ring being my favorite. Jumping right into NSFW with any chat program will make interactions shallow and stale. I appreciate the NSFW boundary of character AI because you end up having much deeper conversations.

The AI has reached the point when our monkey brains can perceive a text generator as an actually existing personality. Combine that with ERP, and I wouldn't be surprised if lonely people actually become dependent on their bots.

Self hosting your own ERP is a practical approach...nothing wrong with it when money is tight. Odoo and Acumatica are good choices and have good track records.
