2015年1月28日 · I am pulling a Jay Flight 28BHS and have the E4 with 1000lb bars. The 28BHBE is a long and heavy trailer and will require a heavy duty hitch with superior sway control. The E2 is good for lighter and shorter trailers. Spend the extra money and get the E4 and MAKE SURE you buy the right sized one for the trailer you are buying.

2015年3月28日 · The E4 kit ships with 4" Link Plate connectors (I think) where as the NORCO/BAL frame is 4 3/8". So you end up having to fit in a spacer (5/8") to fill the gap to tighten the link plates. It could lead to the Frame Connectors to walk/slip.

Got a great price, etc. FInally get to where we were going to get the hitch setup and found that the bars ran into the "cat walk" of the trailer. Dealer says "oh, Jayco changed these this year and started putting it under the frame instead of over. What are we going to do.

2021年5月8日 · Between the Curt TruTrack WDH and the Equal-i-zer E4 WDH, I lean toward the Equal-i-zer. E4 I would at least size the WDH to handle loaded conditions at 195RB's GVWR of 3,750lbs. A recommend 13% to 15% of (gross weight) 3,750lbs gives you a 488lbs to 563lbs loaded tongue weight range...., thus a WDH rated at 600lbs minimum.

2014年6月30日 · My E4 is LOUD! I am talking nails on a chalkboard loud. I have the sway jackets on the L brackets installed and helped a little. Dealer says not to grease anything but the support team from Equal-izer says I can grease the top/bottom of the sockets (they actually have Equal-zer brand grease).

2016年4月29日 · The E2 and E4 are not the same... they are similar, they are from virtually the same company. The E2 antisway friction (2 friction points) is less than the E4 (4 friction points). For small trailers, the E2 may be sufficient. Also, on E2 the weight bars are at the bottom of the hitch head; the E4 from sockets in the middle of the hitch head.
