The new government is a coalition of the Freedom Party (PVV), the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), New Social Contract (NSC) and the Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB), and consists of 16 ministers and 13 state secretaries.

The King and the ministers together make up the Government of the Netherlands. The ministers and state secretaries are responsible for the day-to-day business of government. On 2 July 2024 the government led by Dick Schoof took office.
