2020年7月7日 · One (the 128gb drive) is formatted with NTFS and the newew one is formatted with FAT32 (will eventually try it with NTFS as well). Also - I have the non-nav 8.4 head-unit. My understanding is that different manufacturers makes the nav and non-nav units, so maybe that plays a part in the overall stability/functionality?
USB capacity read limit for UConnect (or known issues)?
I am running a 4GB in my 2015 R/T with the base radio and a 64GB in my 2017 Ram with the 8.4. I did have problems with another 4Gb drive that I was running in the Challenger so the specific drive may be a problem rather than the capacity. The problem drive was an older Lexar and would not play reliably in either vehicle.

2015年2月19日 · The Maximum capacity of any external memory storage device that Uconnect system supports should not exceed 32 GB. Uconnect system recognizes and plays MP3 and WMA format music files. I suggest making folders, each not exceeding 255 songs and no more than 10 folders per SD card/USB flash drive.

I started with my SSD 1TB Samsung which plays perfect in my Ford Escape and did not play at all in the new car. Internet says no bigger than 32GB drive and has to be formatted to FAT32.
