What's more, protein sequence alignment revealed that YjhG could be a novel member of IlvD/EDD family. These results will benefit applications of YjhG protein in biosynthesis of related chemicals.

2012年7月1日 · The endogenous d -xylonic catabolic pathway in E. coli W3110 was previously reported by Frost (2008). Based on this study, two d -xylonic acid dehydratase genes (yagF and yjhG) were disrupted to prevent d -xylonic acid consumption. All of the gene disruptions were confirmed by PCR (Supplementary Fig. 2).
