The DR’s price tag has climbed a bit in recent years and is the same as the recently-updated street-friendly KLR650 (which has fuel injection, a much larger gas tank and a much more comfortable seat). The DR is actually more expensive than the Honda XR650L, which offers better off-road performance for $6,999 MSRP.

The guy on the K1300S was stunned that all three DR650's left him behind on the slippery wet roads going over this Sierra Pass.

2017年11月4日 · My wife has a dr 650 as an adventure bike lowered with factory Clevis on shock slid forks in triple clamps and I shortened factory kickstand and rewelded.She loves the bike her other bikes are 2003 wr 250f plated for true off-road and sprint 955 for true street if she was to keep one bike it would be the dr she is 5.2 tall.

2014年3月1日 · The idea was to try and put all the FCR jetting info for the DR in one place so it can be a useful reference for others going forward. Currently there is info in the OZ DR thread, the main DR thread, DRridders, BergDonks build, TT and others. Pretty time consuming to sort through all of those to find something useful.

KLR 650s also get quite a few good and bad stories, once again because they are so prolific on the site. I personally don't own one, and have only owned an earlier 91 model DR 650.
