2019年1月3日 · Storing the dog in a 2 foot by 5 foot corner of my shed is a major plus and the same goes for getting to and from my fishing lakes. Not having to insure and register on a yearly basis is yet another major plus. Out on the ice with a foot of fresh snow the dog does great but it is tippy if you get tilted in ruts.

2009年6月18日 · You get the picture. So, we had to adjust to the conditions, and to the walleye’s whims. The best colors were firetiger, black/gold, blue tiger, and Hollywood. At the end of it all we got plenty of eaters for the fish fry, and put a good number back in the lake to be caught again another day. I hope everyone had an enjoyable Father’s Day.

2013年8月11日 · The water temperature has been about 78 degrees. I’m finding fish in no less than six feet of water and up to twelve feet. I’m finding bigger fish in a bit faster current. The first picture is a 15” beast that fell to a white/blue tube and minnow. All fish have come vertical jigging and I’m trying a bit of a different tactic this year.

2024年11月3日 · But then at about 3 a damn dog showed up running all over the woods. It went away after about 30 minutes and a couple more doe showed up. Come 4pm that dog showed back up chasing the deer off and barking and running. I hiked out at 445 kinda mad. Was a great gloomy evening with lots of movement, hoping the wisco buck was going to show it’s self.

On day two during our break picture from above, Pat and I were trying to recover from the walk through the thick bowl, but ol man Rufus was ready to Rip and looking at us like c’mon lets go. Gut, funny how you mention about how well Rufus listens. Not only does he obey commands, I swear he understands English.

2010年3月28日 · Right now I’m using dog food. To be honest with you, the traps will work without any bait at all but I usually use something at least dog food. The best bait this time of year is minnows (fatheads or crappie minnows). When you catch some minnows the bullheads will head right for the trap going after the minnows.
