Anders Colsefni, Shawn Crahan, Paul Gray and Patrick Neuwirth brought the aggressive feel to the band, which would also be the defining feature of the future band Slipknot. During this early period, the songs “Slipknot”, “Gently”, “Idiot”, “Whats wrong” and “Wise up” were recorded, later to be known as “The basement sessions”.
