2009年3月29日 · The Silent Movie Theatre in West Hollywood, on Farifax. An amazing place to see silent films on Wednesday evenings, and all kinds of obscure, cult and classic films all other days of the week. The place is pretty small and intimate (built in the 1940s), but if you get there early enough, you can grab a comfy couch in front.

2025年2月23日 · A/C never broke but the electric power has gone off. Eh, when I was a kid no one had A/C in their home. We didn't have it in school or church, either. When it got too hot in the summer we went in a pool or to the ocean (lived on an island), sat out in the shade or went to a movie theater all day (2 feature movies with cartoon intermissions).

In fact I was there this past Thursday, as that is the day my wife attends some senior events at our Community Center which span the dinner hour, so she eats early or late. The daughter and I went to Blue Ash.

2018年2月20日 · When I lived in Kansas City, I could go to a mindfulness meditation session at the Unity Temple and then maybe do some shopping and then see a movie. Or, I could just stroll around and admire the stunning architecture and grab dinner and drinks at an authentic Kansas City restaurant like Eden Alley or Zocalo.

2025年2月14日 · The other thing the OP almost certainly should do (and others have alluded to this) is cut back on the acts of service. I don't know what your exact agreement/foundation is, OP, but: your wife works, and therefore she makes money, and therefore it's difficult to imagine her actually needing someone to cook her breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday.
