2024年2月15日 · Atari didn't design or develop Dig Dug, just licensed it from Namco and made some small changes for translation. The hardware is nothing like the games Atari developed in-house. They also licensed Pole Position from Namco. The HW on DD and PP are very different, though, and PP doesn't suffer from the same screech.

2010年1月24日 · Miner 2049 is more like Donkey Kong than Dig Dug. Other games like Dig Dug include The Pit, Robby Roto, Gold Bug, and Mr. Do!, but they all use humanoid characters, or at least a smiley face. Gold Bug does have trucks at the bottom that fill up with dirt as you dig and a weird sound system. That would be my best guess so far.
